1900s East Lothian Bondager

I was approached by the Coastal Communities Museum in North Berwick, Scotland, to create a recreation of a 1900s Farmer Woman's outfit to be displayed as part of their exhibit. The Costume is based on William M Brown’s (1863-1936) paintings “Hoeing in the Field” and “Wailing Potatoes”, and research of local dress customs.
